JoMo starts the day by talking about safe ways kids can protect their garden from hungry pests and how every insect plays an important role in our ecosystem. After taking a quick look at Pelican Town's local calendar of events, we head down to the beach where we're suddenly transported to Phoebe & Piper's garden. They show us all the seedlings they've started for the Spring season and then take us into the garden to plant sunflower seeds. JoMo then heads to the Community Center to complete the first Spring Bundle for the Junimos. On our way home, we run into an awkward situation with Linus... who seems to be rummaging through George's trash can for food. We explore subjects like food waste, food security and how lots of kids (and communities) don't always have enough to eat. JoMo shares his thoughts and provides resources on how anyone can get involved in local food drives.
