It’s another big day in Stardew Valley! JoMo wakes up to a visit from Clint, the local Blacksmith! He teaches us how to build a furnace by giving us one of his old blueprints. We then get to harvest our very first crop - parsnips! After heading to the beach south of Pelican Town, JoMo teaches kids about worm composting (also known as vermicomposting). We go into JoMo’s backyard to learn how valuable worms are for the soil. After catching a few fish, we say hi to Shane in Pierre’s General Store. Shane tells us to leave him alone, and we talk about the importance of setting boundaries and how to respect other people's boundaries as well. On our way home we see Abigail playing the flute in the forest. We end our day by talking about the joys of playing instruments and making music with other people.
