It's another day of salmonberry picking in Stardew Valley, with a huge focus on recycling, sustainability and general learning for kids. After watering our strawberry patch and the rest of our crops, it's time to head out for the wild harvest. We run into Ashkon (our new friend from the Secret Woods) who was wondering where all the salmonberries were going. We talk about the importance of only taking what you need while leaving enough for everyone else. After heading into Pelican Town, JoMo takes us outside of the game to Emma Lea Farms where it's time to go berry picking in real life! After harvesting two full bins of strawberries and tayberries, it's time to head over to Clint's so he can help us upgrade our axe. We say hello to all our lovely neighbours and share some of our recently grown parsnips with them. We end the day by talking about metaphors and discussing various examples. After taking a deep breath, it's time for bed.
